Compassion of God: Psalm 78:38 But He, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity and destroyed them not. Yea, many a time turned He His anger away, and did not stir up all His wrath. Forgiveness of God: Luke 23:34 Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." And they parted His raiment and cast lots.
